On September 30, 2014, a conference entitled "The Labor Market: Employees' Market" was held at the Voivodeship Library in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The conference was organized jointly with the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone. The conference was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy, Lubusz Employers, and Gazeta Wyborcza.
Invited guests included management staff from Lubusz companies, school principals, representatives of the City Hall, the District Office, and universities. Students from the selected sponsored class also participated in the conference. We extend special thanks for their attendance to:

However, we received a letter expressing his appreciation for taking the initiative and organizing the event, which, in his opinion, provides an important platform for exchanging information on the requirements of the local labor market.
Violetta Panasiuk-Strzyżewska, President of AUDIT HR, spoke at the conference about the fact that the Lubusz labor market has already become an employee's market. Outlining possible solutions to employers' current challenges, she emphasized the need to invest in graduates and students, especially those from vocational and technical schools. In October, AUDIT HR is launching a pilot project for a mentored class at the Mechanical School Complex in Gorzów – we are taking under our wing the first year of a mechanical technical school. Klaudia Dolata, board member and head of our company's Nowa Sól branch, presented the pilot project for the mentored class. "This is a project where we focus on the student, getting to know them, strengthening their skills, training them, and then connecting them with the right employer," she said. "This is the link I've been missing in student-employer contacts for a long time," said Janina Grzecznowska, Director of the Mechanical School Complex in Gorzów, during the conference, referring to the pilot project for the mentored class. Artur Malec, president of the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone, spoke about the growing interest in investing in our region. He emphasized that new investments mean new jobs, and therefore a constant demand for employees. How can we attract and retain employees who are becoming scarce in the labor market? Tomasz Jeziorkowski, HR Director at TPV Displays Polska Sp. z o.o., discussed the challenges of motivating and solutions implemented at one of the largest companies in Gorzów during the conference. Maciej Mularski, owner of the M. Mularski Horticultural Farm and a local leader in hiring foreigners, presented the experiences of Lubusz employers in hiring non-EU workers. On behalf of the Lubusz Employers organization, Henryk Salej, office director, read a letter addressed to the Minister of Labor and Social Policy. It outlined proposed legislative changes regarding the employment of non-EU workers.
The conference provided an important platform for discussing current challenges in the Lubusz labor market and seeking common solutions, with an emphasis on cooperation between entrepreneurs and vocational education.
