Managers' Meeting: Breakfast on the Grass

At the Gorzów Golf Course, we discussed key changes in the labor market during the Managers' Breakfast series.

On May 11, 2017, we organized another meeting in our Managers' Breakfast series, this time titled "Breakfast... on the Grass." Exceptionally, the meeting took place in an unusual location – the Zawarcie Golf Course in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The main topic covered the current market situation and changes in employment.

The meeting was held under the slogan: "Labor Market – Changes, Changes, Changes...". Representatives of Lubusz companies discussed key challenges in the local labor market, changes in regulations regarding the employment of foreigners, and new regulations regarding the employment of temporary workers. We thoroughly analyzed the following topics:

  • Current market situation: Unemployment, demographics, and the phenomenon of emigration. In March 2017, the unemployment rate in Poland reached its lowest level in 26 years (8.1%), which served as a direct backdrop to discussions about the labor shortage.

  • Remuneration Report: We discussed the latest changes in salaries based on the Local Remuneration Report.

  • Employment of Foreigners: We presented upcoming changes to regulations regarding the employment of foreigners, including visa requirements and border crossing rules in the context of visa-free travel.

  • Temporary Workers: The main point of discussion was the amendment to the law introducing a maximum employment limit of 18 months for a single employer over a 36-month period, which came into effect on June 1, 2017.

The meeting was led by the President of AUDIT HR, providing participants with the latest data.

The meeting was personally chaired by Ms. Violetta Panasiuk-Strzyżewska, President of the Management Board of AUDIT HR. Her presentation provided participants with strategic insights into the dynamically changing realities of the labor market in the context of upcoming legal changes. The event provided a unique opportunity to network and engage in in-depth discussions about current HR challenges.
